ENID, Okla. —
The Enid Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the lobby of University Center at Enid High School.
On the agenda are a number of routine fundraising and budget requests, transfers among accounts and fund encumbrances.
The board will consider the district financial report, the schedule of 2014 school board meetings, and approve or disapprove a resolution concerning the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System and financial reporting for pensions and pension plans to call on the Oklahoma Legislature to create a special funding situation for state pension liability.
Next, they will take up a contract with Community Development Support Association to provide Parents as Teachers services to Enid school patrons.
Two construction-related change orders will be taken up. The first is a change to the contract with Henson Construction Company for building the Enid High School University Center. The change reduces the contract price by $90,714, the remaining contingency amount built into the original contract.
They will also consider a change order to the contract with Reeder General Contractors for renovations to the Administrative Services, I.T. Services, and Support Services Centers. That change order increases the contract by $31,799 due to several hidden conditions and a substitution by the construction managers.
The board will consider purchasing property at 120 E. Cherokee.
They will approve or disapprove the FY2014 collective bargaining agreement with Enid Education Support Personnel Organization.
