EPD detectives, SWAT team bust 11 for drugs

— Enid Police Department Narcotics Unit detectives and SWAT Team served two search warrants and made 11 drug-related arrests this week.

Tips from the department’s Tipsoft program led to the a search warrant at about 2 p.m. Wednesday at 413 W. Vine.

Sgt. Eric Reddick said five people were arrested for items located inside the residence.

The items included methamphetamine, marijuana, materials commonly used to package narcotics, scales and drug paraphernalia, Reddick said.

Police initiated a traffic stop on one of the residents, Teresa Beebe, during the search warrant. Beebe fought the arresting officers, causing a minor injury to one of the officers, Reddick said.

Beebe was arrested on complaints of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, maintaining a house where drugs are kept or sold, possession of a CDS with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anthony Harlen was arrested on complaints of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of precursors and resisting arrest.

Tristan Woods, Krystal Hotaling, Mikel Myers and Michael Hakel were each arrested at the residence on complaints of visiting a house where drugs are kept or sold.

Narcotics Unit detectives and SWAT Team served another search warrant at about 6 a.m. Thursday at 2205 W. Maple.

Officers found three large Ziplock bags containing 105 grams of high-grade marijuana, Reddick said.

A firearm was located in the bedroom, along with other drug paraphernalia.

Six people were inside the house during the search and subsequently were arrested.

Kenny Biby, Tanner Brock, Kayla Clark and Daniel Langton were arrested on complaints of possession with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stephen Haley and Logan Brock were arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
