ENID, Okla. —
A Fairview man was injured Thursday night in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 60 in Major County.
Eliah L. Biffle, 19, was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted in stable condition with head, trunk external and trunk internal injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 9:55 p.m. Thursday 10 miles west of Fairview.
According to the report, Biffle was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban west on U.S. 60 when the right rear tire blew, causing Biffle to lose control. The vehicle went across the center line and hit an embankment and a tree. Biffle was ejected approximately 99 feet from point of impact, according to the report.
Biffle was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report, which lists unsafe vehicle as the cause of the accident.
