ENID, Okla. —
Two people were injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident in Major County.
Jimmy Dean Hand, 52, of Higgins, Texas, was admitted in stable condition to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center with foot injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
Marjorie Elaine Hand, 54, of Higgins, was treated at Bass for leg injuries and released.
The accident happened at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 60 a little more than five miles west of the intersection with Oklahoma 58.
According to the report, the Hands were riding a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a 2011 Ford F150 pickup driven by Kenneth Paulsen, 80, of Canton, went left of center and hit the motorcycle.
Neither Paulsen nor his passenger, June Avonne Paulsen, 77, of Canton, were injured.
