Oklahoma City resident Kay Beach will be speaker Thursday at the Sons and Daughters of Liberty meeting.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at YWCA Enid, 525 S. Quincy. The topic of her discussion will be biometric identification systems as relating to Oklahoma driver’s licenses.
On Monday, Sons and Daughters of Liberty groups from Garfield, Major and Dewey counties will host New Zealand author and lecturer Trevor Loudon.
That meeting will be 6 p.m. at YWCA Enid.
Loudon recently released “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress,” which includes profiles of 14 senators and more than 50 representatives and their ties to what Loudon says are Communist Party USA, Democratic Socialists of America, Workers World Party, Institute for Policy Studies, Council for a Livable World and other radical anti-American organizations.
Monday’s event is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited.
