Enid native 1st-ever OSU Marching Band president

— Kegan Tuohy, an Enid native and senior at Oklahoma State University, is the first-ever president of the OSU Cowboy Marching Band.

Touhy, majoring in management with a minor in music, is in his fourth year with the OSU marching band. He is section leader for the OSU trumpet section. As president of the marching band, he now leads one of the largest collegiate organization in Oklahoma.

Tuohy’s responsibilities as band president include addressing the band on a weekly basis, promoting good morale, planning and coordinating programs for new members and serving as a liaison to the university and community at large.

Tuohy, 22, has played trumpet 10 years. He and his trumpet are a familiar sight in Enid. He has performed at Enid Symphony Orchestra; St. Francis, First Presbyterian and Redeemer Lutheran churches; Jumbo Foods; and Gaslight Theatre.

He is the son of Kevin and Ursula Tuohy.
