ENID, Okla. —
A 32-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in the 200 block of East Garriott.
Susan S. Yates suffered incapacitating head, body, arm and leg injuries in the 6:20 a.m. collision, according to an EPD report. She was taken from the scene by Life EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Billie J. Hull, 29, of Enid, told police she was driving eastbound on Garriott when Yates came out of an unknown location in front in front of her, according to the report. Hull said she struck Yates and pulled into a parking lot in the 100 block of East Garriott.
Lyndel L. Landrum, 60, who witnessed the collision, told police she was behind Hull on Garriott and did not see Yates until after she was struck, and she almost struck her, too. Yates was unable to tell police what happened.
