ENID, Okla. —
Central National Bank will offer a $1,000 college scholarship to an area high school student athlete in celebration of its 100th anniversary.
The Central National Bank Centennial Scholarship is available to high school seniors attending an Oklahoma college, university or technical school in the fall of 2013.
“CNB’s history began in Enid 100 years ago,” said Brud Baker, CEO. “We are eternally grateful for the support we have received over the years and for the great customers we have had the pleasure to serve. Our future is in the hands for the young men and women graduating from high school and going on to college, and CNB is privileged to be able to support their education.”
The deadline for the scholarship is April 15. To qualify, students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and be involved in a high school sponsored sport.
Students must attend one of the following high schools: Enid, Oklahoma Bible Academy, Chisholm, Pond Creek-Hunter, Kremlin-Hillsdale, Garber, Ringwood, Waukomis, Lahoma, Drummond, Medford, Covington-Douglas, Pioneer, Timberlake, Blackwell, Bartlesville, Mooreland, Woodward or Tulsa area.

Students not in athletics may apply for the May T. Henry Scholarship offered by CNB. The application also can be found on CNB’s website.
CNB will celebrate its 100-year anniversary May 1.
