Police seek IDs in theft

ENID, Okla. — Enid Police Department Detective Robin Bench is seeking assistance in identifying a man responsible for the theft of a dollar bill changer machine from Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, 600 S. Monroe.

At 3:44 a.m. Nov. 10 a man and woman were recorded on video surveillance walking down a hallway from the area of the dollar bill changer, according to an EPD press release. About 45 minutes later, the same man is again recorded on video entering the hallway and removing the dollar bill changer from its location and exiting the hallway with the dollar bill changer.

Bench also is seeking the identity of the female subject for questioning.

The man is described as white, with a medium build, about 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall and wearing either a white or tan hat, a tan jacket, dark pants and a white shoes. The woman is described as white, with a medium build, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a white shirt, dark pants and white shoes.

The dollar bill changer is owned by Great Plains Bottling Co. Value of the machine and its contents is $700.

Tipsters can earn a reward up to $1,000 and will not be required to testify or be identified. Callers also may contact Enid Police Department at 242-7000.
