EPD makes drug arrest

ENID, Okla. — A 63-year-old Enid man was charged this week with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after Enid Police Department’s SWAT Team and Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at his home.

Glen Stuart Kuhn, 63, faces two to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of up to $5,000 on the felony drug possession charge. He also faces up to a year in county jail and a fine of up to $1,000 on the misdemeanor paraphernalia charge.

At about 6:26 a.m. March 27, SWAT team members served a no-knock search warrant at Kuhn’s residence, 5809 Roman Nose, according to an affidavit filed in the case.

Narcotics Unit members also searched the garage and a vehicle on the property.

A search of the vehicle found a small metal marijuana pipe in a door panel pocket, according to the affidavit.

A test of residue in the pipe was positive test result for THC, a chemical associated with marijuana.

In the garage of the home, police also found a cigarette pack that contained a small amount of a green leafy substance that appeared to be marijuana, according to the affidavit.

Detective Zeke Frazee also found yellow notebook paper with several known brands of synthetic marijuana written on it, according to the affidavit.

On a coffee table in the living room, Frazee found a white notebook with the names of known synthetic marijuana brands with amounts next to them, according to the affidavit.

Frazee also found the names of people in the back of the notebook that indicated how much each person had purchased.

Online court records show Kuhn was set for sentencing Monday on a 2012 drug case.

Kuhn pleaded no contest to a felony charge of unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and guilty to a misdemeanor count of selling or possession of paraphernalia.

Those charges stemmed from a search warrant executed in May 2012 at Your Quality Store, 502 E. Broadway, where undercover detectives purchased synthetic marijuana and a glass pipe, according to court documents.

Kuhn is free on $20,000 bond on the newest charges.
