ENID, Okla. —
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents still are investigating the death of a 71-year-old woman found dead Sunday morning in Fairview.
Gary Perkinson, assistant special agent in charge, said OSBI was contacted Sunday by Fairview Police Department in reference to the death. He said agents and crime scene technicians processed the scene and are reviewing evidence and conducting interviews.
Fairview Police Department officers were called before 11 a.m. Sunday to Red Carpet Village Apartments, 610 W. Beck, where they discovered the woman.
Fairview police contacted OSBI and agents were on scene by about noon Sunday, Perkinson said. The name of the woman is not being released as agents continue to attempt to notify next of kin.
Perkinson said there was nothing preliminarily to suggest foul play was involved in the woman’s death, but agents are waiting for the medical examiner’s office to determine cause and manner of death.
