ENID, Okla. —
An early morning fire in a building at Jacksons of Enid, 4405 W. Garriott, caused an estimated $250,000 in damage.
Fire Marshal Ken Helms said firefighters responded at 3:13 a.m. to a structure on the Jacksons of Enid property used for detailing and other services.
The fire in the steel structure burned insulation, as well as several vehicles and specialized equipment inside the building. He said firefighters remained on scene until about 7 a.m. to prevent flare-ups and look for hot spots.
He said no one was injured and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. However, Helms said there was no reason to suspect a criminal reason for the fire.
