Waukomis school carnival is slated Saturday

WAUKOMIS — Waukomis Elementary School’s annual carnival will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Activities will include jousting, bouncy house, giant slide, jail, goldfish, pop walk, bingo, Little Debbie walk, country store, crafts and painted pumpkin auction.

The crowning of the elementary school king and queen will begin at 7:30 p.m. This year’s candidates are Tiffany Brett and Eli Mitchell, pre-kindergarten; Kynslee Cue and Jordyn Blaylock, kindergarten; Karstyn Sissney and Jaryn Porter, first grade; Lean Julian and Donovan Reagh, and Juliana Watts and Colby Kokojan, second grade; Bryclyn Alcorn and Maven Burroughs, third grade; Kymbri Kobs and Mason Hurst, and Taylor Moody and Kaden Tuell, fourth grade; and Emily Brown and Aiden Lemke, fifth grade.

Raffle tickets are $1 each. The class selling the most raffle tickets will crown their candidates and win a pizza party.

The junior class will host a spaghetti supper during the carnival. Proceeds will be used for the school prom.  

The school also is selling discount cards for $10.
