ENID — Enid Public School Board of Education will have its regular meeting 6:30 p.m. Monday at the school district’s central office.
First on the agenda is installation and oath of office for Willa Jo Fowler and Cheryl Patterson, which will be followed by the election of a board president and vice-president. The board will also appoint a clerk, encumbrance clerk, minutes clerk, assistant minutes clerk and treasurer.
Aside from routine agenda items the board also will vote to approve or disapprove declaring board of education office No. 5 vacant, a request from the Enid High School Constitution team for permission to travel to Washington, D.C., for the national competition, the Enid High School and middle schools registration guide for 2010-2011, Enid Public Schools summer academy guide for 2010, and a school calendar for 2010-2011 school year.
The board will recess to executive session to discuss the employment of personnel, the purchase or appraisal of real property and pending litigation.
After returning from executive session the board will vote to approve or disapprove the employment of Maria Diaz DeResendiz, child nutrition; Alison Eads, teacher assistant; April Jamieson, child nutrition; Liznell Ramos-Medina, child nutrition; and Lamar Smith, child nutrition.
