ENID, Okla. —
Enid Writers Club will present a writing seminar March 1 for area authors.
The seminar, named “The Story,” will feature three keynote speakers. It is designed to help people improve their writing skills.
Speakers are New York Times best-selling author Jamie McGuire, Pinnacle western author Dusty Richards and Harper teen author Tara Hudson.
The seminar also will include workshops focused on poetry, literary, Christian and genre fiction. The cost is $25 plus lunch if reservations are made by 5 p.m. Feb. 1. After that, the cost is $30 plus lunch.

McGuire is the new adult author “Beautiful Disaster,” “Walking Disaster” and “Red Hill.” She recently signed a three-book deal with Atria Books and lives in Enid with her husband and children.
Richards is a Spur Award-winner and National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum award-winning author. He is president of the American Western Writers Association and has published more than 20 books for adults and children.
Hudson is author of the “Hereafter” series including “Hereafter,” “Arise” and “Elegy.”
Enid Writers Club is Oklahoma’s oldest writing support group. Members meet monthly to support local writers and share strategies for success.
