Portion of 10th will stay closed because of renovations to school

ENID, Okla. — Ongoing renovations of Longfellow Middle School will keep 10th between Randolph and Broadway closed for at least an additional three weeks.

According to an city of Enid release, the closure of that portion of 10th will continue 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on school days.

Engineering officials stated this street closure will be required for an extended period of time and is expected to be completed by Jan. 22, according to the release.

City officials released a similar statement in late-November, stating the project was expected to be complete Dec. 22.

The road has been closed for the school renovations since August.

“Updates regarding the renovation project will be issued by the city when appropriate by the city of Enid Engineering department,” the release states.
