Two people were taken to an Enid hospital late Tuesday following an accident at the intersection of Garriott and Oakwood.
According to an Enid Police Department report, a car driven by Chase Wedel, of Garber, was traveling west on Garriott when his brakes failed and he entered the intersection and struck a car driven by Brandon Clonts, of Enid, which was southbound on Oakwood.
Wedel and a passenger in Clonts’ car, Tasha Covert, of Enid, were taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. Neither was a patient Wednes-day.
In Kingfisher County, an early morning accident Wed-nesday sent one person to the hospital.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 1999 GMC driven by Roxie Moore, 36, of Kingfisher, was westbound on a county road half a mile east of Kingfisher, when Moore lost control. The truck traveled 290 feet before leaving the right edge of the road and hit the curb of a private drive, then rolled one and a half times.
Moore was taken to Kingfisher Regional Hospital by Kingfisher EMS with internal and leg injuries. He was listed in good condition.
The accident happened at 1:03 a.m.
