A Wakita teen was taken to an Enid hospital Sunday after his pickup ran off the road and overturned on a county road in Grant County.
Billy Ray Clark, 17, of Wakita, was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center where he was admitted with head, trunk external, arm and leg injuries.
Clark, was driving a 2002 Ford pickup a mile west and eight-tenths of a mile north of Wakita in Grant County Sunday, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. He was southbound on a county road, ran off the roadway to the left, overturned one-and-one-half-times and spun one-half time. Clark was reportedly ejected and unknown distance.
The accident was investigated by OHP Trooper Caleb Swickey of the Garfield County detachment.
