Ag manangement course scheduled

Enrollment is now open for the agricultural business management program at Autry Technology Center in Enid.

The program includes financial management and analysis, record keeping, marketing, risk management and tax management. 

The program will meet monthly 6:30-9 p.m. Mondays at Autry Tech. Individual farm visitations also may be scheduled by participants who would like to meet with the instructor to discuss specific goals and financial decisions confidentially.

“The program is designed to bring benefits of instruction in agricultural business management to farm families,” said Don Roberts, program coordinator. “The main focus of the program will be helping farm families and farm operators to establish and achieve farm business and family goals.”

The program meets the borrower training requirements for Farm Service Agency.

Classes will begin Oct. 21, and farm couples within the district will be charged a fee of $95, which covers books and tuition.
