Staff reports

An Enid woman was in-jured early Sunday when her car was struck by another vehicle on North Van Buren.
Michelle L. Schubert, 39, of Enid, was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center with multiple broken ribs and a ruptured spleen and was reported in good condition Sunday afternoon, following the 1:20 a.m. accident.
A passenger in the Schubert vehicle, 21-year-old Chelsea Briggs, was taken to Bass by private vehicle. There was no information on her condition.
Police reports stated the driver of another vehicle, Brent L. Brezina, 30, of Enid, was northbound on the east access road in the 2800 block of North Van Buren. Brezina told police the Schubert vehicle did not stop at a stop sign at the corner of the east access road and Oxford, made a left turn onto Oxford and entered the north bound lane of Van Buren without stopping.
Brezina said he tried to avoid striking the vehicle, but struck it on the driver’s door. Schubert was extricated from the vehicle by Enid Fire Department personnel and transported to Bass by LIFEEMS.
Neither Brezina, nor a passenger, Larry Brezina, 51, were injured.
