Library adds video games to kids’ programs

Public Library of Enid and Garfield County has added video games to its teen and children’s programs.
The library, with assistance from a grant from Junior Welfare League, purchased two Wii systems and several games.
The first gaming program will be Monday. The time for elementary-age children will be 3:45-5 p.m., and the time for teens will be 6-8 p.m. No advanced registration is required.
Other programs at the library are:
• Teen space chess tournament. It will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Any-one interested should call the library Monday to sign up. The number is 234-6313.
• Story time. Preschool children story time is 10 a.m. Wed-nesdays. Time for babies and toddlers is 10:45 a.m.
