Cleo Springs man, 50, is injured in ATV accident

— A Cleo Springs man was injured when he wrecked the ATV he was riding in Major County.
Steven Ray Schroeder, 50, was admitted to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with head, neck, trunk, arm and leg injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. He was listed in serious condition.
The accident happened at 8:50 p.m.
According to the report, Schroeder was riding the 2007 Polaris Quad Runner 700 south on a county road near Cleo Springs when he lost control. The ATV went 72 feet before rolling once, ending up in a ditch. Schroeder was thrown 13 feet, according to the report.
The report by Trooper Rick Wallace indicated an odor of alcohol and said the cause was Schroeder traveling too fast.
