Enid Police Department and the FBI were continuing their investigation Monday into the weekend robbery of Bank of the West.
No arrests have been made.
The bank, in the 700 block of West Broadway, was robbed at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday by a man wearing a cap, a mask, sunglasses, gloves, blue jeans and a blue sweatshirt.
“We’re still working on the case with the FBI,” said EPD Capt. Dean Grassino.
The number of witnesses remains undisclosed at this time, but witnesses, including one who saw the robber running from the bank, described the man as a black male, between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 to 180 pounds.
The robber left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was seen leaving in a blue car.
While no weapon was seen by any witnesses and no injuries were reported, authorities are considering the suspect armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information is asked to call Garfield County Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available. Anyone calling Crime Stoppers with information will not be asked to testify and will not be identified.
