Police have released a sketch of a man wanted in a June 17 rape that occurred in the Brookside addition of Enid.
The rape occurred sometime between 12:45 and 1:38 a.m. The victim told police she was asleep but was awakened by a noise near the back door of her residence. When she got out of bed to check, she found a man standing inside her home.
The woman said the man began yelling at her and grabbed her, causing her to fall backward onto her bed. The woman said the man raped her and fled.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital.
The assailant is described as a white male with brown eyes, a shaved head, about 38 years old, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 270 pounds.
At the time of the attack, the man was wearing a dark T-shirt and shorts, gloves and has a dark-colored piercing below his bottom lip and sores around his mouth. The man may possibly be driving a red primer small pickup, possibly a Ford Ranger, described as being in poor condition.
