A Fort Supply man has been sentenced to more than five years in a federal prison for committing a bank robbery Feb. 25 in Woodward.
Kenneth Leon Hatchett, 51, was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Stephen P. Friot to serve 63 months in federal prison for robbing Central National Bank of Alva in Woodward with a 13-inch stainless steel knife, according to the office of U.S. Attorney John C. Richter, of the Western District of Oklahoma.
Hatchett pleaded guilty to the bank robbery April 2. Court records show he got away with $3,780.
In addition to the 63-month sentence, the judge ordered Hatchett to serve four years of supervised release upon his release.
