Scholarships given to Chisholm graduates

Haley Baumgardner, Mike “Blake” Gillpatrick, Marissa Schultz and Courtney Skaggs, Chisholm High School graduates, were given $500 scholarships by North Enid Lions Club.
Baumgardner, daughter of Troy and Sheri Baumgardner of Carrier, plans to continue her higher education at Oklahoma State University in the area of agricultural business. Baumgardner is currently attending Northern Okla-homa College and has been active in 4-H and Chisholm band. She was on the principal’s honor roll from 2006 to 2008.
Gillpatrick, son of Jay and Shauna Gillpatrick of North Enid, has completed nine college credits from NOC. He has been active in football, basketball and is a past member of National Junior Honor Society. Gillpatrick will attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, seeking a doctorate in pharmacy.
Schultz, daughter of Brent and Brenda Schultz, graduated from Chisholm High School with a grade point average of 3.96. She was on principal’s honor roll for four years. Schultz was active in student council for four years and a member of National Honor Society for three years. Schultz plans to attend OSU and major in business and apparel merchandise.
Skaggs, daughter of Michael and Tammy Skaggs of North Enid, will attend OSU this fall, majoring in agricultural communications. Skaggs was active in 4-H, Chisholm band and was on the principal’s honor roll from 2006 to 2008. She is enrolled at NOC this summer.
