students for physics

Autry Technology Center’s Regional Oklahoma School of Science and Math site recently awarded two students for outstanding accomplishments in physics.
Caleb Lareau and Elisabeth Pitts were selected as the Outstanding Physics Students at Autry Tech’s OSSM site.
Both students received a certificate of achievement and a gift membership to the American Association of Physics Teachers.
Lareau is the son of Chad and Julie Lareau and just completed his sophomore year at Oklahoma Bible Academy.
Pitts is the daughter of Cornelius and Nell Pitts and recently graduated from Chisholm High School.

recieve scholarships

Three 2009 Enid High School graduates have been selected to receive scholarships from President’s Leadership Council Scholarship.
Madison Pastor, Sierra Simpson and Christian Markes are among 120 freshman students selected to receive the $1,500 scholarship at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater this fall.
The scholarship selection is based on the students’ academic achievement, leadership potential and school and community service.
Each student receiving the scholarship will take a three-hour leadership class, serve on the President’s Leadership Council and be expected to continue excellence as they develop their leadership skills.
Pastor is the daughter of Peter and Brenda Pastor or Enid.
Simpson is the daughter of Steve and Gay Simpson of Kremlin.
Markes is the son of Chris and Lori Markes of Waukomis.
