An Evansville, Ind., truck driver was injured Thursday in a one-vehicle accident in Blaine County.
Charlene Grace Bunch, 43, was admitted to Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City in stable condition with back injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
She was pinned for about 45 minutes before being freed by Hitchcock and Watonga firefighters.
The accident happened at 2 p.m. Thursday seven miles south of Southard on Oklahoma 51A.
According to the report, Bunch was driving a 2006 International tractor with flat bed trailer loaded with bags of gypsum south on the highway and failed to negotiate a curve. Her truck went off the road, and she over-corrected, rolling the truck one-half time and coming to rest on its top.
The report listed inattention as the cause of the accident and said Bunch was talking on a cell phone. She was wearing a seat belt.
