A Shattuck man died Saturday in Woodward Coun-ty as a result of a one-vehicle accident.
Haskell E. Sturtz, 68, was eastbound on Oklahoma 15 when he ran off the right side of the road, striking the end of a bridge five and a half miles west of Woodward. The accident occurred 11:15 a.m.
Sturz was transported to Woodward Regional Hospi-tal, where he died.
The cause of the accident still is under investigation.
Also in Woodward County a two-vehicle accident at 8:30 a.m. Saturday left three hospitalized.
Donna Beth Carman, 47, of Vici was driving northbound in her 1998 Ford on a county road when she failed to yield at a stop sign and drove onto U.S. 183 into the path of a 1993 Dodge Ram driven by Richard Oren Dill, 48, of Oklahoma City.
Carman was transported to Woodward Regional Hospital and admitted with head, arm, leg and external trunk injuries. She was then transferred to Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Two passengers were hospitalized after the crash.
Alexis R. Carman, 7, was taken to Woodward Regional Hospital and admitted with internal chest injuries. She is listed in good condition.
Seth A. Carman, 6, was taken to Woodward Regional Hospital, where he was admitted for head injuries. He is listed in critical but stable condition. A third passenger was treated and released.
Neither Dill nor any of his passengers were hospitalized, but one passenger was treated and released.
