Main Street Enid’s work day to clean planters is Saturday

— Main Street Enid is having a work day Saturday to clean up the corner planters downtown.
The work day will be 8 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers from Main Street, Vance Air Force Base and others will meet at the Gazebo on the courthouse lawn Saturday morning. Tasks will include weeding, mulching, bagging trash, trimming and planting spring flowers. Main Street Enid coordinates the care of the 64 downtown corner planters, and this work day is in conjunction with Keep Oklahoma Beautiful and Great American Clean-up.
Refreshments will be available, and volunteers are asked to bring their own gardening tools if possible. For information, call Lindy Chambers at 603-0856.
