Alva man in good condition following 2-vehicle accident

An Alva man was injured Sunday in a two-vehicle accident in Woods County.
Roy Earl Perks, 48, was admitted to Share Medical Center in Alva in good condition, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 10:19 p.m. on U.S. 281, one mile north of Alva.
According to the report, Perks was driving a 1998 Toyota pickup north on U.S. 281 when he tried to make a left turn onto Hughes Road. His vehicle was hit on the driver’s side rear by a 2008 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Wayne Dean Keen, 50, of Morrison, which also was northbound, according to the report.
Keen was not injured.
The report listed the cause as following too closely.
