The Wakita-Gore-Manchester reunion is Saturday at Wakita’s Bicentennial Building.

The state FFA convention will be Tuesday and Wednesday in Oklahoma City. The FFA banquet will be May 8.

The FCCLA reception will be Thursday.
------------
The band will compete in Enid’s Tri-State Music Festival Thursday.
------------
The sports banquet is May 6.
------------
The elementary track meet will be May 6 at Medford.
------------
Gifted and talented students will take a trip May 7.
------------
The senior trip is May 8-12.
------------
Kindergarten graduation and elementary awards assembly will be May 13.
------------
Baccalaureate will be May 14 at Wakita Baptist Church.

The National Honor Society induction and awards ceremony will be May 15.
------------
May 16 is the last day of school. Senior graduation will be 10 a.m. in the gymnasium.
Community
Wakita Senior Citizens group held its covered dish luncheon March 25 at the Senior Citizens Building.
Attending were Jean Hampton, Lois Happ, Louise and Dale Rapp, Dean Barr, Geneva Cromwell, Flora Belle Guthrie, Dean and Katie Mallory, Junior and Virginia Nachtigall, Donna Ransom, Carol Falkenburg, Eda Schuelke, Terri Shaum, Kathy Morrison, Monta Horning and Jeraldine Evans.
The birthday luncheon was April 8, with Dorothy Rapp and Marie Riley celebrating their birthdays. Others in attendance were Mary Hess, Lynda Waldie, Barr, Virginia Koehler, Cromwell, Genevieve Riley, Marlene Wilczek, Dean and Katie Mallory, Guthrie, Ruth Mueser, Ransom, Falkenburg, Schuelke, Peggy Mitchell, Linda Wade, Horning and Evans.
Church
United Methodist Women met April 2 at the church. Plans were made to take meals to college students at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. Evans was hostess. Others attending were Carol Ann Bolser, Cromwell, Cheryl Rapp, Phyllis Craven and Lorene Johnson.
