Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the thefts of more than $3,000 worth of farm equipment and tools.
According to reports, the most recent theft occurred sometime between Saturday and Sunday in the 10500 block of East Skeleton. Fourteen cattle panels were reported stolen from a pasture. Value is $2,000.
Between Feb. 10 and 11, six saddles and horse tack were reported stolen from a barn in the 18800 block of East Breckenridge. No value for the property was listed.
Sometime between Feb. 14 and Saturday, a solar panel used to power a water pump was taken from a field in the 6000 block of South 186th. The solar panel is valued at $600.
The sheriff’s office also is investigating the theft of assorted hand and power tools. According to reports, someone entered a home in the 6200 block of South 186th sometime between Dec. 15 and Feb. 15 taking about $800 in tools.
Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Garfield County Sheriff’s Office at 237-0244.
