Vance closed Thursday for non-mission essential personnel

— At 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, Col. Richard Klumpp, the 71st Flying Training Wing commander issued a base closure notice for non-mission essential personnel and a 2-hour delayed reporting for all others. Additionally, the flying mission for Thursday is cancelled. Vance mission essential members should report for duty on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. Individuals must contact their supervisory chain-of-command with any questions or concerns regarding this matter.
