Oklahoma Blood Institute has several special promotions set up or the next week.
Rock 100.5 The KATT will host a blood drive in Enid 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. This is the 24th year KATT is partnering with OBI on a blood drive. The drive will be at Oakwood Mall.
Along with a free KATT blood donor T-shirt, all donors will be registered for a chance to win a 2008 Saturn Astra or $15,000 from Bob Moore Saturn in a drawing to be held Feb. 14.
Donors also will receive free health screenings, Members for Life points to redeem at OBI’s online store and a donor license plate bracket.
The “KATT Cage” also will be on location, teaming up with Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to encourage animal adoption. Along with pictures of animals in need of adoption, SPCA employees will be on site to answer any questions.
Lahoma will have a community blood drive 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 12. The Northwest Oklahoma Blood Institute bloodmobile will be parked at Lahoma town hall. The drive is sponsored by Lahoma First Baptist Church Sister to Sister group.

Four Enid-area blood donors will win tickets to see Celine Dion in concert during the week of Jan. 12. All donors giving at NWOBI, 301 E. Cherokee, will be entered in a drawing for concert tickets. Winners will each receive two tickets to see Dion perform live at the Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa on Feb. 2.
NWOBI is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday. Most healthy adults, ages 17 and older, are able to donate blood. Appointments to donate can be made by calling 233-9323 or scheduling online at www.obi.org.
