Woman hurt in 2-vehicle collision on Van Buren

— An Enid woman was transported to a local hospital Friday after a collision on Van Buren.
Monique M. Johnson, 29, was transported to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center with possible injuries to the left side and hand, according to the Enid Police Department report. She was treated and released.
According to the report, Johnson’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Jessica L. Hernandez, 19. Hernandez was eastbound on Oklahoma when she made an unprotected left turn onto Van Buren and struck Johnson’s vehicle in the intersection, according to the report.
The traffic light at the intersection does not have a safe arrow to turn northbound on Van Buren, according to the police report.
Hernandez was cited for failure to yield.
