Dover man hurt in accident on Kingfisher County road

A Dover man was injured early Thursday when his pickup left the roadway and rolled on a county road in Kingfisher County.
Michael Levi Drake, 18, was taken to Kingfisher Regional Hospital, where he was admitted with head and leg injuries. He was listed in good condition according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
A 2005 Ford pickup driven by Drake was northbound on a county road three miles east and 31⁄4 miles south of Loyal on a county road in Kingfisher County, an OHP report stated.
The report states the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway for an unknown reason, swiped a tree, overcorrected and rolled two times. The accident report by Lt. Don Hennessy of Troop J in Enid, stated the driver had an odor of alcohol. Hennessy was assisted by OHP Trooper Tanner Beckner, Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Department and Loyal Fire Department.
