Evening with Enid symphony was very special occasion

Those who did not attend Enid Symphony’s “Take Me Out to the Symphony” on Saturday, April 26 at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark, missed a very special evening. Rebekah Kirtley Ambrosini did a beautiful job singing the “Star-Spangled Banner” the way it should be sung. The karaoke competition was great fun as was Chad McKee’s rendition of “Casey at the Bat.” The Banana Boat Song and Miss Carmen Miranda were additional highlights.
The music from the symphony, was as usual, tremendous. Enid is so very blessed to have not only a symphony of this quality, but a director like Doug Newell.
I don’t understand people who complain there is never anything to do in Enid, but then again, I don’t understand all I know about it. Keep smiling.
