Barton to speak at Faith Center Fellowship

Tim Barton of WallBuilders will be speaking at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Faith Center Fellowship, 201 S. Meno Ave., Meno.

Barton will be speaking on what’s happening in America’s cutlure war today and how history can be used and the filter of God’s word to impact society.

WallBuilders has a weekly television program “The Ameri-can Heritage Series,” seen on most Christian networks and on satellite, as well as daily radio show (WallBuilders Live!) or download from their website

Zion Lutheran to show movie Sunday

The movie “Courageous” will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont, at no charge. Popcorn and drinks also are provided at no charge by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

“Courageous” is about law enforcement officers, their families and their role as fathers. Protecting the streets is second nature to these men, raising their children in a God-honoring way. Everyone is invited to attend this entertaining and inspiring film from the makers of “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants.” Zion Lutheran is located at 507 Fairmont Road in Fairmont.

‘Sojourner Quartet’ to hold concert Sunday

The “Sojourner Quartet” will be in concert at 1 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church, following a noon meal. Sunday school is 9:45 a.m. and morning worship is at 10:45.

Calvary Baptist Church is located at 831 E. Broadway in Enid. Everyone is welcome.

A Night of Hope coming to Oklahoma City

“A Night of Hope” with Joel and Victoria Osteen is coming to the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28.

“A Night of Hope” is an outreach of Joel Osteen Ministries and is an exciting time of praise and worship, where attendees will hear an inspirational message from Joel and Victoria, along with the music of the Lakewood Band and Ensemble.

Osteen is the pastor of America’s largest church, Lakewood Church in Houston.
