Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal Monday through Friday. For reservations, call 478-8039. Meal site is located at 1225 S. Cleveland. Menus are subject to change.
Monday: Chicken and dumplings, green beans, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, sherbet.
Tuesday: Pineapple pork chop suey, oriental mix, baby corn, celery, onions, bell peppers, etc., crispy chow mein noodles, almond cookies.
Wednesday: Chef salad, vegetable soup, crackers, applesauce cake.
Thursday: Chuck wagon steak, seasoned oven Jo-Jo potatoes, mustard greens, hot roll, SF Jell-O.
Friday: Brown beans and ham, oven-fried okra, onions and banana peppers, corn bread, cherry cobbler.
