Heer’s Country slated Jan. 4 in Longdale center

— New Year’s in Heer’s Country will be held 6-11 p.m. Jan. 4 at Longdale Community Center Gym.

Heer’s Country will feature guitarist Will McLin and fiddler Matt Keith, who will join Enid’s own Bobby Bennett and the Borrowed Bandits band. Also, classic country musician Buck Goucher will perform, as well as up-and-coming star Jarod Cross, performing classic and current country music.

“Will and Matt were former members of the “Sounds of the Southwest,” which was once named by the Oklahoma Legislature as Oklahoma’s Official Swing Band,” said founder Sharon Heer.
