Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hiebert will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 12 at Aline United Methodist Church. They request no gifts. Cards may be sent to Rt. 1 Box 123, Ringwood, OK 73768.
Marvin Hiebert and Reba Lee were married Dec. 28, 1957, at Aline United Methodist Church. The Rev. Austin Bizzell officiated.
They have lived in the Cleo Springs and Fairview areas all their married lives, with the exception of the first six months, when they lived in Wichita, Kan.
They currently live on a farm east of Cleo Springs where he farms and works in construction. She worked at Cleo State Bank and Fairview State Bank and Community National Bank for 25 years. She later served as Major County treasurer and recently retired after 16 years.
They are active members of Aline United Methodist Church, where she serves as church treasurer and church pianist and he is on the board of trustees.
Their children are Greg and June Hiebert, Ringwood, and Kent and Jaci Thomas, Aline. They have five grandchildren.
