Willa Mae Woodbury Grace will celebrate her 89th birthday with family.

Willa Mae Lebow was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Antlers to Walter and Amanda Lebow. She graduated in 1937 from Ames High School. She married Roy D. Woodbury June 24, 1939. He died in January 1984. She married Leo Grace May 27, 1992.

She began her career in monogramming at Farris White Sewing in 1941 in Enid and moved to Newman’s Department Store in 1943. She opened Woodbury’s Monogram Shop in 1945. She has been monogramming for more than 67 years and continues her work for areas schools, making award letters and banners. She is a member of Followers of Christ Church.

Her children are Sharon and Jim Johnson, Enid. Her stepchildren are Calvin Grace, Enid, Tom Grace, Ashville, N.C., and Bill and Beth Grace, Grove. She has one grandson, one great-granddaughter, eight step-grandchildren, 20 great-step-grandchildren and one great-great-stepgrandchild.

Kuhnemund, 80



Wynona Kuhnemund will celebrate her 80th birthday with a reception for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at her home, 412 S. Main, Lahoma. She requests no gifts. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 444, Lahoma, OK 73754.

She was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Enid to Henry and Leona Frey. She graduated from Lahoma High School in 1945.

She married Vernon Kuhnemund Aug. 21, 1949, at Zion Lutheran Church, Lahoma. She worked at Newman’s Department Store and then spent 20 years at First National Bank in Enid, retiring as assistant vice president in 1976.

She helped her husband with their farming operation. She also worked for many years as the Lahoma correspondent for the News & Eagle. She is a member of Community Bible Church, east of Lahoma.

Her children are Gene and Connie Barnes, Hennessey, and Daryl and Shannon Kuhnemund, Lahoma. She has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
