Melott-65th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Melott will celebrate their 65th anniversary with family and friends Wednesday at the home of their daughter in Pryor. Cards may be sent to 5801 N. Oakwood, Apt. A107, Enid, OK 73703.

Vincent Melott wed Mae Wells July 26, 1941, at the home of the Rev. Fred Hanna in Enid. They farmed in the Jefferson and Pond Creek area all their married life. They are retired and living at Golden Oaks Village.

They are members of First Christian Church of Pond Creek.

Their children are David and Donna Melott, Enid; Ann and Dan Clark, Muskogee; Karen and Tom Ryan, Pryor; and Debra and Steve Meritt, Pond Creek. They have five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
