Ratzlaff-60th anniversary for 6/2/08

Mr. and Mrs. John Roe Ratzlaff, of Meno, will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a reception for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Ringwood, hosted by the United Methodist Women. They request no gifts. Cards may be sent to RR 1 Box 4, Meno, OK 73760.

John Roe Ratzlaff and Gracie Mildred Bingham were married June 6, 1948, at Eden Baptist Church, southeast of Ames. They lived and farmed southeast of Ringwood, where they ran a milking operation. In 1956, they moved to Huntington Park, Calif., where he worked for Fiberboard Paper Co. in Vernon, Calif. She worked for Huntington Park Telephone Co. as an information operator.

They returned to farm life in 1963, southeast of Ringwood, where he still is farming. He is a member of Ringwood Lion’s Club and Ames American Legion Jaynes-Kennedy Post 340. They are members of First United Methodist Church of Ringwood.

Their children are Dennis Ratzlaff, Altus, and Alan Ratzlaff, Tulsa. They have one grandson and one great-grandson.
