James Elrod wed Delores Winter April 9, 1956, in the parsonage at Assembly of God, Meeker.
They owned and operated Jim’s Appliance and Air Conditioner Repair Service in Enid for 35 years, retiring in 2004.
They are members of First Assembly of God Church.
Their children are Steve and Joyce Elrod and Dennis and JoEllyn Elrod, all of Enid, and Lisa and Gary Matthews, Oklahoma City. They have nine grandchildren.
