Enid Event Center to unveil new EHS basketball court

ENID, Okla. — Global Spectrum, managers of the Enid Event Center, invites the public to see and experience the new basketball floor in the facility that will serve as home for the Enid High School Plainsmen and Pacers beginning with the upcoming 2013-14 season.

Enid High’s new home court will be on display during an open house on Thursday, July 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Enid Event Center, 302 S Grand. Global Spectrum’s Keller Taylor, general manager of Enid Event Center, said the public will not only get to see the new court and how the facility will look for basketball games, but they also will have the chance to go onto the floor and shoot baskets.

Taylor said Global Spectrum will have some light food and beverages available as well. Admission is free and guests should utilize the southwest entrance (Box Office) into Enid Event Center.

Global Spectrum manages Enid Event Center & Convention Hall and Visit Enid as well as more than 100 other public assembly facilities around the world. Nearly 20-million people attended more than 11,000 events in Global Spectrum venues last year.
