‘Dracula’

Today and Saturday at Gaslight Theatre

Did you miss the first four performances of Gaslight Theatre’s “Dracula”? No problem! You can still catch two performances of the classic tale today and Saturday at the theater, located at 221 N. Independence.

Both showings are at 8 p.m. each day. Tickets cost $7, $11 or $15 and may be purchased at the link at gaslighttheatre.org.

Family Farm Day

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center

Experience a variety of farming activities Saturday at Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, including wheat planting, fall gardening, pumpkin decorating and more.

Other events include pie auction at 1 p.m., and beans and corn bread lunch, available by donation.

Admission to Family Farm Day is free with entrance fee to the museum.

Halloween schedule

What: Chicken and Noodle Dinner and Fall Food Fest

Where: Christ United Methodist Church, Cleveland and Randolph

When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday

Cost: $5 for adults, kids 6-12 $2.50, under 5 free

Details: Homemade chicken and noodles and all the trimmings, plus homemade desserts and baked goods available. Also view the handmade fall quilt to be raffled. $1 donation per ticket, or six tickets for $5 donation.

What: Trunk or Treat

Where: Oakwood Bowl, west parking lot

When: 5-7 p.m. Saturday

Cost: $5 for participants (those who decorate their car and pass out candy)

Details: Winner of best decorated trunk wins free office party at Oakwood Bowl. Each $5 entry will go directly to the Grand Prix Youth Scholarship Fund.

What: Kiwanis Spook Train

Where: Meadowlake Park

When: 2-4 p.m. Sunday, weather permitting

Cost: $2 per person; free for children under 12 months

Details: Costumes are encouraged, and candy will be provided to all children who attend. Bongo the Gorilla will be driving the train.
