ENID, Okla. —
Power was restored to all of the downtown area about two hours after it went out Sunday morning.
Power went out to about 300 customers in the vicinity of Washington and Broadway around 7:30 a.m., according to John Little, community affairs manager for OG&E.
Enid Fire Department, Garfield County Sheriff's Office and Enid News & Eagle were among those affected.
Power was restored to about a third of those customers by 8:30 a.m., but Little said the power could not be fully energized along the lines until they determined what caused the outage. He said workers were patrolling the area of the outage to find the cause, which may have been tree limbs, squirrels or some other issue.
