“Step Right Up! Behind the Scenes of the Circus Big Top”

Saturday through Aug. 11

Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, 507 S. 4th

Visit Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center Saturday to relive the days when colorful characters of all shapes and sizes would traverse the United States and bring cheer to millions of people.

“Step Right Up! Behind the Scenes of the Circus Big Top” is a new temporary exhibit at the museum and will be on display through Aug. 11.

The exhibit explores the circus era between 1890 and 1965 and takes them behind the scenes of one of America’s oldest theatrical traditions.

Visitors to the museum will receive $1 off admission by showing their admission or ticket stubs to Cirque Musica, which is coming to Enid Event Center on June 27. Regular admission is $5 — $3 for seniors and students. Active duty military and veterans are free.
